Get to Know FIESC

Constituted by more than 130 business unions, the Federation of Industry of Santa Catarina (FIESC) is the lead entity of the FIESC System, which also includes four other entities – The Industrial Social Service (SESI/SC), The National Industrial Education Service (SENAI/SC), The Santa Catarina Center of Industry (CIESC) and The Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL/SC).

FIESC’s principal role is to institutionally represent Santa Catarina’s industrial sector in relations with government and the organized sectors of society. In its quest for a business environment more propitious to the development of Santa Catarina and Brazil, it gives priority to reducing high tax rates, rationalizing government spending and promoting the construction of infrastructure capable of allowing and stimulating private investment compatible with the level of economic growth desired for Brazil.

FIESC’s second great focus of operation is the promotion of improvement of the companies in the industrial sector. To achieve this goal it offers a wide range of services and information essential to the modernization of management and production, so that the companies achieve the highest standards of excellence.

A secure institutional environment and the constant updating of industrial processes raise competitiveness of companies and provide them conditions to compete not only in the domestic market, but also internationally.
